Case Studies

London Buses – PA Installation and Maintenance

Delatim have been awarded the Public Address System Supply, Installation and Maintenance for TfL’s Surface Transport Division.  The Framework covers 24 London Bus Stations over a 2 year period with a possible 1 Year extension.

Delatim are responsible for the Plan Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance across 24 London Bus Stations as well as the design, supply and installation of new PAVA Systems.  Delatim have a dedicated team of maintenance engineers on call 24/7 to ensure the PA system remains operational at all times.  Works include the following activities

  • Intrusive Surveys
  • Planned Maintenance Inspections
  • Responding to call outs
  • Concept and Detailed Designs
  • Installation of new ASL PA Systems

Stratford Regional Station– Maintenance Contract

Following Delatim’s completion of the £2.5m communications upgrade at Stratford Regional Station, (one of the most complex integrated systems on Network Rail), Delatim were awarded a short term Communications Maintenance Contract. Delatim also provided training to Station Control Room Staff.

Our scope for this project included Plan Preventative and Reactive maintenance for the following:

  • CCTV, PA, Help Point, CIS and Passenger Counters
  • Station Management Systems
  • Integration of new communications assets onto the system

Westminster Central Hall –Facilities Maintenance

Delatim Ltd were awarded the facilities maintenance contract for Central Hall Westminster.  As central London’s largest conference venue, the Grade II listed building enjoys a prime location opposite Westminster Abbey and adjacent to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

Delatim are responsible for the Plan Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance at Central Hall.  Delatim employ five full time members of staff located at the hall who manage the day to day maintenance requirements and also assist with preparing the hall for events.  Delatim assume responsibility for the following maintenance elements of this extensive building:

  • Fire Detection
  • LV Power and Lighting
  • Heating and Ventilation
  • Cold Water Supplies
  • CCTV and IT
  • Decoration
  • Fixtures and Fittings
  • Cleaning
